I was devastated when I found out, I thought I was going to DIE!!!! (Dumb Me). I knew nothing about the condition, and since I had always been a runner and in good health, I FREAKED OUT!!!!! I have a friend at work that said that her hypothyroidism disappeared after taking her meds for 3 years?! I am hopeful (fingers crossed!!!). I am curious, how have you dealt with the condition? Do you religiously take your meds? Does it remain at low levels, even when meds are not taken everyday? I was told by my doctor that I was going to have to be on meds for LIFE?! Especially, if I want more kids, because it can be transferred to the baby?! Yikes!!!!
